INTRO TO YOGA
An introduction to the fundamentals of Yoga postures, breathing techniques, yogic philosophy and meditation. Learn how to get strong while staying flexible both physically and mentally.

VINYASA
A flowing sequence of postures in harmony with the flow of breath
FORREST YOGA
Gets you strong and centered by connecting you to your core. It uses heat, vigorous workouts and deep breathing to sweat out toxins. The long holds in the pose sequences help you flush, oxygenate and rejuvenate every cell. Forrest Yoga does not require strength or flexibility; it only requires that you bring a willingness to learn how to feel authentically and respond honestly.

YOGA TUNE-UPĀ®
A 'whole body' longevity fitness system integrating a blend of innovative sequences derived from classical yoga, calisthenics, and body therapy. INTRO to BELLY DANCING
Learn the ancient art from the Middle East. Beginners must come to at least 4 of these classes before joining the intermediate/advanced classes. (1hr)

Come and dance to live drummers playing melodies straight from Africa. Lively and energetic class, be prepared to sweat.
ALTERNATIVE BALLET
October 15 - December 17, 2009, ages 10 and up Why Alternative? Instead of the usual focus on style, prettiness, and mechanic movement, Alternative Ballet centers on proper alignment, awareness, balance, grounding, energy efficiency, and organic natural movement.

TANGO
Mixed class for beginners and intermediate students. Develop tango fundamentals and technique by working on figures and combinations, and working on the ability to improvise to the music.www.tangonewpaltz.com
TAI CHI
Tai chi is about changing our internal environment so that life becomes a joy to live and not a burden to drag into old age and death. It is about helping your body to let go of the past and your mind to slow down and cease churning. Tai chi encourages your internal focus to shift toward cherishing and remembering all that is wonderful in your life. It predisposes you to look forward to ways to make life better, rather than remembering how unsatisfying it has been. CHI-KUNG
Chi-Kung or Qigong is an ancient Chinese exercise that cultivates and moves the internal energy in the body. We will learn and practice short forms that are simple and effective in stimulating circulation, improving balance and creating an overall sense of well being.
QIGONG FOR SENIORS
Qigong for Seniors is series of meditative exercises considered to be the mother system of all martial art forms.The exercises combine dynamic and static meditation, breathing techniques, simple body movements and mental imagery.
FLAMENCO
Level 1 is a gentle introduction to the complexities of Flamenco. Not only will students learn technique and choreography. They will learn to distinguish between the different rhythms of Flamenco dance and music and become familiar with the unique history of the style. There is LIVE Guitar player for the classes. Level 2 starts Jan 7th 2010 7:30-8:30pm
ZUMBA
The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba Fitness is designed for all ages and levels of fitness and just in case you are wondering, no dance ability or coordination is required!

JOURNEYDANCE
JourneyDance will move you through deep, personal exploration into a loving, intimate relationship with body, mind, and source energy. This sensual and exhilarating union of dance, visualization, and ritual calls us to get funky and divine!
COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE
Dr. Sam will be offering Community Acupuncture on Tuesdays between 4 and 5:30pm. Participants lay on blankets on the floor and receive a 30-45 minute acupuncture session. Chairs will be provided for those uncomfortable lying down. The cost is $20-40 sliding scale with a $20 additional fee for new patients. No appointment is necessary. The last person will be accepted at 5pm Wear comfortable clothing.
COMMUNITY SANGHA & SANCTUARY
Mindfulness Meditation will be the cornerstone of the Sangha (we will practice silent seated practice for approximately half of each session). A variety of other restorative, insight and wisdom based practices (Yoga nidra, mindful movement, walking practice & buddhi shuddi) will add to the array of restorative sanctuary practices. Speech will be kept to a minimum however there will be instruction and a very brief period of open sharing woven into our time together.Suggested Donation per session: $5

Nuture your mind & body during pregnancy and prepare for delivery and motherhood. This class is open to women of all levels and at any time during your pregnancy. These classes are ongoing Fridays 11:15-12:15pm but require registration to come into it,
